Daruma Dolls

This time I want to share something interesting about the famous Daruma dolls. These dolls are only found in Japan. It has the shape of an red egg with the face of human with no legs and arms. This doll represents the fighting spirit of perseverance and a wish for good luck. It is also made by papier- mache and the doll was hollow. Daruma has a paperweight inside so if you push it the doll will fall but it will stand upright again. That was the main point here, Daruma was made to motivate people for not giving up " If you fall seven times, get up eight times" How is it motivating? For your information Daruma was made with blank white eyes. You have to paint one eye when you are setting a goal and paint another eye to tell that you had
achieved success!
